FORWARD TRUST: M-PACT (MOVING PARENTS AND CHILDREN TOGETHER)
What is this service?
Our highly acclaimed Moving Parents and Children Together Programme (M-PACT) is a whole family, structured support programme which aims to improve the well-being of children and families affected by substance misuse. The program provides a weekly space to share, to learn, to be heard and affirmed but also to be challenged.
The programme structure is made up of 10 sessions. 8 core sessions one day a week followed by an individual family meeting in week 10, to review the programme and to make future plans, there is a reunion for all families 12 weeks after the review session. Transportation is provided for the families if needed.
WHO CAN USE THIS SERVICE?
Families affected by substance misuse.
The children and young people are generally between the ages of 8-17. Family members affected by substance misuse can also participate, such as nan, aunty, uncle, grandad.
HOW ARE SERVICES DELIVERED?
We run weekly sessions in-person. Please get in touch for more information. Transport will be provided free of charge to families if needed. Other locations such as Harlow are potentially also available.
