What is this service?
Carers First understands that life as a carer can be challenging. Getting the support and help you need shouldn’t be. Carers First works directly with, and for, thousands of carers, and we understand that your needs and situation are as unique as you are. We facilitate numerious carer support groups across Essex and one off social events please do check out our website for more informatin.
We can give you access to support and benefits you might not have been aware of. We can connect you to other carers and help you find time for yourself. Together, we will help you find the support right for your needs.

WHO CAN USE THIS SERVICE?
Adult carers aged over 18 years who look after a relative or friend who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or addiction cannot manage without their support.
HOW ARE SERVICES DELIVERED?
Personalised 1-1 support in the community, Social groups Support groups Virtual Drop-ins.
We will provide you with personalised and tailored advice online, by phone, or face to face.
