Writtle Singers

About

A chamber choir, based in Writtle. The choir performs a varied repertoire from plainchant, motets and madrigals to many styles of contemporary music. As well as smaller, unaccompanied pieces the Singers? recent performances include J S Bach St John Passion, Magnificat and the Mass in B minor, Haydn Nelson Mass and Purcell Dido and Aeneas, all with orchestra. Themed concerts are also a feature of the choir?s programme.
