Rainbow Rural centre is based on Sallet's farm, which is our family run organic farm. We have set-up Rainbow Rural to run alongside the working farm to enable us to provide meaningful access to our community of able, disabled and disadvantaged.

Rainbow Rural Centre (Gt Dunmow) C.I.C. (Community Interest Company) is designed to provide acres of fun and learning on the farm. Rainbow Rural centre started in 2010, with the vision to design and support disabled, disadvantaged and vulnerable people have good access to our sustainable working farm.

Whilst at Rainbow Rural, children and adults are given the opportunity to learn about our local countryside and the animals that co-exist here. We encourage people to interact with the animals whether it’s just being close to them, feeding them, or working with them. We have found that working outdoors, whether with animals or gardening is very beneficial to our visitors. As a registered Care Farm we can support safe, supported access to the centre.
