To provide support and information for Chinese carers and to empower Chinese carers in a culturally appropriate and understanding environment; To raise awareness and influence policy issues concerning Chinese carers; To establish a national resource and become a centre of excellence; To promote the mental health and wellbeing of the Chinese community of Mid Essex area working together cohesively regardless of age, ethnic, origin, ability, sex, belief or political affiliation, recognising the value of our many differences. To provide respite care and befrienders; To enable support between each other. They meet at Grove Road Evangelical Church, Grove Road, Chelmsford, CM2 0EY every Monday from 10:30am to 14:00pm. They provide befriending, advocacy, support and information for carers in the Chinese BAME communities. Organise activities that promote wellbeing, cultural events, conferences and training courses, and raise awareness of carers' issues. Their advocacy service provides language support.
