Home-Start (Chelmsford)

Homestart Chelmsford is one of a network of 340 local Home-Start schemes in the UK. They offer friendship and support to parents with young children in a variety of situations, including isolation, bereavement, multiple births, illness, disability or those who are just finding parenting a struggle, so that every child can have the best possible start in life. Families are visited regularly in their own homes by volunteers, who have all had experience of parenting and know how hard it can sometimes be.
