About

The Essex Wildlife Trust is the county's leading conservation organization. We have 87 nature reserves and 11 visitor centres across Essex that are visited by over 1 million people a year. We aim to protect wildlife for the future and for the people of Essex by getting people out into nature and enjoying the county. We are one of the leading providers of volunteer opportunities in Essex with over 1,500 regular volunteers.
