About
The Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service is delivered by Virgin Care in partnership with Barnardo?s to deliver services from Pre-Birth ? 19 years (25 for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) This newly commissioned Service brings together a number of previous individual services, which includes Children?s Centres, Family Nurse Partnership, 0-5 Healthy Child Programme, 5-19 Healthy Child programme and the Healthy Schools programme into one joined up team across Essex to transform the way children, young people and their families receive care and support. The service ensures that families continue to have easy access to local services, but staff are also be able to reach children and families in the community; whether in a local Family Health Drop In, play area or in a family?s front room. This flexible and innovative new way of working is about providing services without walls and ensuring we are reaching those families who need support the most.
