CHP is the largest not-for-profit housing association in Essex. They are one of approximately 2,000 housing associations in the UK who exist to provide affordable housing to rent and buy. They have a growing portfolio of over 7,000 properties and take most of their nominations from local councils. Working closely with residents and various statutory and charitable agencies, they are tackling anti-social behaviour and improving the quality of life for residents, providing flexible care and support for the elderly and an extensive programme of improvements and modernisation to their properties.
