About
CHALLENGING MND is a registered charity on a mission to extend financial support and assistance to those courageously confronting Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Our journey began in 2019 from a deeply personal connection. Founder of the charity, Alex Gibson was himself diagnosed with MND in his late 30’s. From this tragedy Alex created his vision to support individuals and their families across the UK.
At CHALLENGING MND, we work tirelessly to create lasting memories for those living with MND and their families. We achieve this by offering bespoke experiences or activities of their choosing, fostering a sense of empowerment and joy. Beyond this, we are dedicated to raising awareness about MND through presentations to schools and local organisations. Alex’s approach is winning against adversity and is truly inspiring.
