FoodCycle (Chelmsford)
What is this service?
There is a free vegetarian meal provided every Thursday at Springfield Baptist Church, Chelmsford at 5.30pm. It's completely free and anyone can come. There's no need to let us know, just turn up.
If guests do not want to eat at the church we can provide a takeaway. Tea and coffee is served too. It's a lovely atmosphere and warm too.
The food that FoodCycle use is given by local supermarkets. From this a two course meal. is prepared Sometimes there is surplus left over ie: bread and cakes and the guests can take this home. Again, free of charge.
FoodCycle Chelmsford will be open on Thursday 22nd December but closed on 29th December and 5th January.
