THE CHANGE PROJECT: THE CHANGE HUB

What is this service?

Working with the Change Hub is completely voluntary and free. We provide 1-2-1 support and advice to people who want to make positive changes in how they behave in relationships with others, whether this is with a partner, an ex-partner or a family member. Support is also offered to those affected by our client’s abusive behaviour.

Change delivers community based Respect accredited domestic violence perpetrator programmes which include a dedicated Integrated Support Service for victims of domestic abuse and their children. Our programmes are for men, women, and those within same sex relationships, who want to stop being abusive towards intimate partners.

To ensure that our clients have access to other services that may be able to help, we can also signpost to local agencies for additional support in areas such as emotional wellbeing, substance use, employment etc.

As our work includes supporting the victim/survivor, where possible, the referral should also be discussed with the victim/survivor in advance as their details will need to be included in the referral process. The Hub accepts self-referrals as well as from agencies.

The Change Project offers a specialist Stalking Intervention Service. Clients over the age of 18 can access Behaviour Change Interventions and therapeutic support. Victims/survivors are offered support throughout our interventions

WHO CAN USE THIS SERVICE?
We work in a non-judgemental way with clients aged 16 and above who want to make positive changes regardless of gender, ethnicity or sexuality.

Appointments will be offered in a suitable location and at a time that that are convenient for each individual client.

HOW ARE SERVICES DELIVERED?
We offer group sessions and 1-2-1 sessions for free.
