THE CHANGE PROJECT: DOMESTIC ABUSE PERPETRATOR PROGRAMME

What is this service?

The Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme (DAPP) is delivered by The Change Project. The DAPP is a 27-week group programme for individuals (aged 16 years and above) from any gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion or cultural background who want to stop being abusive towards their partners/ ex partners and are motivated to change their behaviour.

The Change Hub offers a range of interventions to help individuals who wish to change their harmful behaviour. The programme is voluntary and the course is delivered in a group or if individuals require additional support, on a 1-2-1 basis, with the intervention being tailored to the individual’s circumstances and level of risk.
We offer weekly group sessions for 27 weeks and can also offer a 20 week 1-2-1 programme for females perpetrators and clients who require an interpreter.
We have funded places for a group or 1-2-1 work in Colchester. These places are fully funded and interpreters are available. Please contact 07713 307636 or 07872 541982 for more information,
