Support with housing &/or employment
What is this service?
Do your service users/clients require support with housing and or employment?
The Community Engagement Support Officer can offer free confidential support for anyone who meets the eligibility criteria. Support will be tailored to the person’s circumstances, to enable the best possible outcomes in relation to housing and employment needs.
Eligibility
· Currently living within temporary accommodation
· At risk of losing their home due to debt, or change in partnership status
· Those who sofa surf
· At risk of losing tenancies (social housing or private)
· Homeowners at risk of repossession
· Anyone who requires early intervention to avoid continuing to be in rent arrears (less than 3 months in arrears)
· For employment support the client / service user will need to be in receipt of either of the following, UC, JSA, ESA or Income Support
