What is this service?
The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day to provide confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide. They also provide active support in HM Prison Chelmsford and in their SamVan they attend events such as the V Festival and Essex Young Farmers.
