What is this service?
If you need to talk about dementia for any reason or if you are caring for someone living with dementia, Admiral Nurses provide the specialist practical & emotional dementia support that families need, giving them one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions - it helps families to live more positively with dementia in the present, and to face the challenges of tomorrow with more confidence and less fear.
Admiral Nurses provide a free dementia advice phone line: 0800 888 6674 (9.15am - 4.45pm Monday to Friday and 6pm - 9pm Wednesday & Thursday). To make a referral to the Admiral Nurse please discuss with your GP or practice nurse who will make a referral on your behalf.
